  Passed the exam on the first chance using their materials and the video courses and livestreams.
  The mock exams are no longer similar to the actual test because the new CBR test shows a much more realistic image of the road where the dimensions … More are visible. In addition, if you are using a mouse at home, be aware that the actual test is touch screen.
  The mock exams will prepare you well so do all of them. But they are a bit misleading because some of the questions about specific numbers or distances give you multiple choices. The test expects you to know it. Memorize numbers, don’t expect to get a multiple choice. When I got the knowledge section, I had to fill in a number on four of the 12 questions! Think speed limits, trailer weights, distances before zebra pads or bus stops.
  Warning about English language usage. Remember, English is translating from Dutch, so you get some awkward terms that are an attempt to translate Dutch terms where no such English language equivalent exists. That means that native English speakers will be scratching their heads and laughing at some of the terminology on this exam. The materials are very confusing regarding the use of certain terms such as road, carriage way, motor vehicle and motor carriage. I am not so sure CBR uses these distinctions in the same way.
  It appears that all of the different English language online prep courses use the same set of 50 mock exams though the cover photos could differ. Those exams do have some errors and inconsistencies in them, so be aware and check the most recent rules when you run across the inconsistencies.

  To study from theory.com I bought mock exams + the video course (not live) and studied everyday for 2h after work, for 2.5 weeks! 🥳 Very happy with my choice.
  I whole heartedly recommend this combination of products if you’re someone who CAN study on their own, as all the questions you don’t understand during the mock exams practice you GET EXPLAINED during the video course.
  Important to mention, try to learn the values/numbers by heart (ex, the allowed lenght of cars, how many meters you can park from a crossing, etc). You have to introduce these numbers yourselves at the CBR exam, it’s not multiple choice! So make sure to study that hard.

  I took the one-month online membership to give myself enough time to study for the exam. I joined three of the online Zoom classes (you can also do all of them in one day, but this can be quite intense). I would really recommend doing all the mock exams rather than enrolling in the exam warm-up (it’s just a video recording and not an online class).   But don't expect that you will pass your exam by joining only the one day course (since it has a lot of topics to cover and the class is quite fast). The key is:
  1. To do ALL the exercises that they provided beforehand
  2. Join the 1 day class (for crosschecking what you've learned from the exercises)
  3. After that do the mock exams (at least 25-30 exams, you have to do it until you pass everything). The real exam questions are 90-95% the same as the mock exams that they provided.

  Passed my theory test first time today with the help of a course from National Theory Centre! I took a day course yesterday and had the warm-up this morning. I was so nervous, but ended up getting 0 mistakes on knowledge and insight! I … More found the online practice questions and mock exams REALLY useful. The mock exams are very similar to what you get in the actual exam, so there wasn't much surprise in terms of the structure and interface. The answers are explained well too, and if you take notes you'll learn in no time. My instructor, Jeroen, was great and the speaker for the warm-up session was too. Customer service is also super responsive and polite on WhatsApp and keen to help if you need anything.
  I only gave 4 stars because I do think some things can be improved:
  - even in one of the books they give you, it says to never do a day course. I agree - the course would have been better split over 2 or maybe even 3 days. It was very intense, very fast-paced, and a lot of content was missed out. So don't simply rely on the day course!
  - they say there's space in the books to write your own notes but there's not. Bring a notebook!
  - the apps you get access to are only available in Dutch, which makes them difficult to use if you don't speak Dutch or if you're working towards the English exam. This annoyed me a little as I do like learning on-the-go and not being able to use something I've paid for is a bit frustrating.
  - the warm-up session is advertised as a live zoom session but it's literally just a recording scheduled to play at certain times. I felt a little hard-done-by with this too because there's no opportunity to ask questions or interact with the content. They might as well just send you the video rather than scheduling it and playing it off as a live session. There were even parts of it that the speaker requested to cut out but were left in which ended up wasting time and broke concentration.
  - the warm-up session lasted almost an hour longer than it should have done. Not the end of the world because it covered a lot of content, but still annoying when you've planned around it.
  All in all I'm glad I spent the money, but just be aware of the above!
